With the discovery of the Higgs boson (the first fundamental scalar particle observed in nature). The Higgs is not reachable by normal means. The Large Hadron Collider (LHC) was pushed to 4 GeV/c2 in July 2009 the resulting experiments and 50,000 Gigabytes of data that revealed energy from the destruction of Hadrons becoming Quarks. "The Creation of the two Up Quarks were one of the most exhilarating events observed in physics to date. This events is pointing towards Higgs boson particles and the Higgs mechanism," said Léon Bertrand, an Particle Physicist at Heidelberg University, referring to events at The Large Hadron Collider.

This took place at 1.0 × 10-20 after proton to proton collusion took place. The Higgs boson is the only Standard Model particle that has not too date been observed.

Onward to Supersymmetry! A prediction of string theory.
